Meet Allie (Allison) Wilson, board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Allie completed her undergraduate studies at Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges (Associates of Science in Nursing) in November 2016 and beginning her career as a Registered Nurse at Genesis Medical Center on the inpatient adult and adolescent psychiatric units. She went on to continue her education at the University of Iowa College of Nursing and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in December 2019. She worked with the Integrated Health Program at Vera French Community Mental Health Center as a Registered Nurse Case Manager for 1 year, then transitioned back to inpatient psychiatric nursing at Eagle View Behavioral Health, where she continued to work as a Registered Nurse until graduating with her Masters of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2023. She has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in the inpatient psychiatric setting at Eagle View Behavioral Health as well as with their Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). She is a Muscatine native and excited to bring her services to those within her community and surrounding areas. She is passionate about providing individualized treatment planning in which every patient has an active role in their treatment as she very much emphasizes need for individuals to be comfortable and knowledgeable about their own treatment, whether that be medications, therapy, alternative treatments, or a combination. In her free time, Allie enjoys spending time with her husband and their 2 children, reading, and watching sitcoms and medical dramas.
